How to Heat a Greenhouse With Solar Panels

4. AC Heaters

While the 110 volt AC Heater is a great option for heating, it can also provide other benefits like powering your favorite appliances.

For example if you need to use an AC fan or light bulb in one of greenhouses, then this would be perfect. Because not only will it heat up the greenhouse but power up anything that needs electricity as well!

5. Batteries

A 100 AH battery (Lead Acid) will back up your solar panel well. It is equivalent to 1200 watt-hours and can backup the energy from your panels for around 4.8 hours.

But this isn’t enough time if you don’t have a standard grid system in place or any other alternative power source available. When it becomes dark outside on cloudy days during winter months.
