Tip 1: DE-CLUTTER

The living room is a classic area for junk to gather. It’s important not to let it get out of control.

So consider investing in shelving that will hide away items you don’t need or want lying around the house and actively developing habits like being mindful about bringing new things into your home.

Will they be easy enough to maintain/use regularly without having them pile up on top of each other?

Tip 2: SURFACES

Dust is the number one reason for allergies, so it’s important to keep your living room clean. One way to do this is by wiping down all surfaces including curtains and blinds as well as skirting boards, cornices, light fittings and ceiling fans with a damp cloth or vacuum cleaner attachment.

This will help you cut back on airborne allergens such as dust that can build up in the air-conditioning vents. Especially during hot weather conditions where windows are left open most of time while you’re not at home!
